CAPITALX Features
SOA (Design Features)
- The user interface intelligently renders for the particular environment
to which it is intended whether desktop power user, web user or mobile device user.
CapitalX traverses a previously insurmountable divide
between the rich and immediate functionality of a desktop application, and the extended
reach and cost effective deployment benefits enabled by web applications. This alone
provides benefits which are unavailable from any other supplier.
- Bridging Document, Human and System Workflow. Workflow can be generated
manually by data entry or automatically by a scanned image or by a transaction or
inquiry initiated over the internet. Document, human and system workflow are integrated
and can be modified through the use of non- code designers, which allows business
and subject matter experts to map and build the flows that best suit the particular
business. CapitalX Workflow bridges the worlds of system
and human workflow in order to provide a solution that automates as much processing
as possible, yet can expose tasks requiring user interaction in a traditional queue
based approach.
- Automated Processing. Processing is automated, and while most is straight
through, internal administrators can handle exceptions, focusing on the cases where
data is missing, incorrect, or falls outside preset tolerances.
- All enterprise workflow is centrally manageable and easily configurable
by in-house analysts and is also measurable for reporting to stakeholders and subsequent
process improvement.
- Designer Driven Configuration and Development Environment. CapitalX has Visual Studio hosted designers to address each of the
steps involved, from designing forms, to services and rule sets. Use of CapitalX's designers delivers the highest level of developer productivity
and one consistent development model.
- Scalability. CapitalX can grow to support
increasing transaction rates and product coverage and can maintain a linear curve
for any requirement for increased processing demand. There are no restrictions on
the number of users permitted to use the system and it supports multiple concurrent
interfaces with other applications. Extra capacity can be added without architectural
change or re-development and without disruption to the production environment.
- Capabilities for Scale. CapitalX is cluster
aware and able to be farmed, providing scalability and failover capabilities.
- Web Services. CapitalX Configuration Manager
provides a complete web services interface for all its operations.
- Data Management. CapitalX is database agnostic
and will not prevent any database capability from being used.
- Report Generation. Data Warehouse capabilities provide exceptional
reporting characteristics produced with standard Microsoft reporting tools.
- Powerful Rules Engine. CapitalX's new generation
rules engine gives flexibility in benefit design, fee structures, validations, user-defined
fields and enables automated results as a consequence of a process step.
- Security. Security configuration is both form specific and rule-set
specific, and role specific.
- Multiple Environments. CapitalX natively
supports the concept of multiple concurrent environments and provides the ability
to migrate complete applications or individual forms from one environment to another.
