V6.4.1 Highlights

Integrated Workflow and Imaging - CAPITAL's basic workflow facility has now evolved to the point where it offers a complete and flexible solution. CAPITAL can act as the hub for all interaction with the three main components: Image Capture, Image Storage, and Workflow Control.  For further information, see the Documentation page in the Client Area of our web site or speak to your Account Manager.

CAPITAL Business Objects (CBO's) exposes CAPITAL's existing business processes in a programmer-friendly way to a clients' Web User Interface (.NET/Java) or other third part applications.  Regardless of the access method utilised, CBO's ensure that the same set of business rules are utilised reducing the cost of maintenance and support significantly as only one set of programs, rules and formulae are required.

Regression - CAPITAL Version 6.4.1 includes integration with the Rational Robot Regression testing tool.

Multi-Session Client - End Users can now have up to 5 Client sessions open at once, providing the ability to switch between tasks without losing their place.  A typical use would be to process a Member enquiry while in the middle of a complex transaction.

Multi-Lingual Capability - The multi-lingual features of CAPITAL have been redesigned, employing a tool called Easy*NLS that provides a seamless translation facility at runtime.  This capability has initially been applied to the Client and Job sub-systems.

CTL Debugger - The long awaited developer tool is here!  Our new CTL Debugger removes the need for the old SysDebug() calls that were the bane of every CTL Developer.  CTL Debugger includes the ability to step through your CTL business code and view variables, globals, and XML content, vastly increasing the speed of problem resolution.

Multi-Environment Build facility and other developer improvements - The Multi-Environment Build facility improves deployment of CAPITAL business code to multiple CAPITAL environments, by allowing multiple sequential CTL builds to be initiated via a single interface. We have also upgraded the version of Microsoft's VC Compiler from Version 6 to Version 7, which will result in more efficient runtime business code. Additionally, we have added the ability to utilise the Incremental Linking feature of the compiler, which results in improved Build times for non-Prepare Make builds.

New Product & Expression Builder for Package - Product and Expression Builder allow business users, rather than programmers to:

Ø      Create New Business Products

Ø      Manage Product Configuration

Ø      Copy Whole Business Products

Ø      Create Standard Letters

Ø      Create and modify Workflows in CAPITAL's new Workflow System

Ø      Create and modify formulae, such as Benefits, Fees and Commissions.

Ø      Configure security

Ø      Configure CAPITAL’s Web Workbench

Product Builder is a foundation stone in SyncSoft’s new line of .Net Products.

Other Business Functionality in Package V2.6 includes:

Ø        Nett Redemption functionality

Ø        ATO Supermatch Interface

Ø        Ability to configure forms, menu options, fields
